On 28th April 2009 ( which was 2 years to the day that we opened the pub ) we opened theWissett Village shop
We converted an outside storage shed to a shop which sells all basic provisions and some extra special items which are made and produced locally.
The inside being transformed with the insulation going in, the breather membrane and then being covered over with the plaster board, finally being plastered and then painted
The opening day ......................... The shop was officially opened by one of Suffolks most colourful charecters Mr Dudley Clarke and the cutting of the ribbon by Peter Cutts, a man who has lived in Wissett all of his life !!
