Our aim is to sell home cooked food using ingredients from local suppliers,  therefore our vegetables,  meat,  fish & bread all come from either Wissett or nearby Halesworth.

We have a dish available all day called a cheese platter.  This is for 2 to share & is ideal with a bottle of wine !!!  It is a selection of three or four cheeses served with pickles, grapes, an apple, celery, a basket of bread & a basket of biscuits.

During the Summer we are also offering a fish platter which will include a selection of fresh local fish.

The lunchtime menu is available from 12noon to 2pm and consists of various sandwiches 

Ham, egg  & hand-cut chips is also available and there is always the daily special available.

The evening menu is available from 6pm to 9pm.  It is usually changed every 3-4 weeks although there are some dished that remain constant

There are usually about four starters to choose from .  The main courses that are regulars include an 8oz steak served with chips, mushrooms, onion rings, peas and tomatoes and gammon steak with either a fried egg or a pineapple ring.  The specials are chosen depending on season & ingredients available.

Most of our desserts are homemade,  for example sherry trifle or banoffee pie but these also change depending on time of year & ingredients available
