We, Debbie & Nick Sumner purchased the Wissett Plough on April 13th 2007. We opened two weeks later after some refurbishment of the pub although this was for drinks only. A week later we started serving food, an example of our menu can be found by clicking on the "food" link. Below is a picture of the Wissett Plough taken in June 2007, we have some pictures in the pub of the Wissett Plough dating back to 1895.  In April 2009,  we opened a village shop at the rear of the pub stocking all basic items and some locally produced products
